2011 Young Riders - take note!
Athletes wishing to be considered for the 2011 Area IX Young Rider Three-Day Event Team must complete an application either online (click on "USEF LOGIN" at the top right hand side of the USEF home page or hard copy (pdf). Applications completed online must be completed in hard copy and must be returned to:
Shealagh Costello, USEF Director of Eventing National Programs, 4047 Iron Works Parkway, Lexington, KY 40511. Applications completed in hard copy must be postmarked, hand delivered or faxed on or before May 16, 2011.
NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNLESS POSTMARKED, HAND DELIVERED, FAXED OR SUBMITTED ONLINE ON OR BEFORE MAY 16, 2011.
The coordinator cannot submit entries on a rider's behalf as was done in previous years. The included Code of Conduct is also required for application.
Report on North American Young Rider Championships
August 2010 - Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, KY
Area IX sent a three person 1 star team and combined two riders of our two star team with two from Area V – We LOVE Area V they were great to combine with! Our two star team ended up with the bronze team medal out of the deal – we were first after dressage, first after xc, and then got the bronze in the end.
2 * - Brittany Lunney on Cool Dancer and Anisa Tracy on Tigger VIII
1 * - Julia Spatt on Tazmania, Kaylin Dines on Simply Ben, and Kendyl Tracy on Ever So Lucky
